The Qatari emir visited quake-hit Turkey and also met with the Turkish Head Of State in Istanbul on Sunday.
The Turkish presidency said in a declaration that Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani checked out Turkey over twin deadly earthquakes which hit 10 provinces in the southerly component of the country on Monday, Xinhua information firm reported.
Both leaders held a closed-door meeting at the Vahdettin Manor in Istanbul.
Qatar was among the countries which dispatched help to Turkey.
The death toll of the earthquakes has reached 24,617 in Turkey, with 80,278 harmed, according to the most recent official figures.
