The launch of the “Kuwait Sat 1” rocket aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 is the culmination of three years of effort.
Kuwait has effectively launched the first satellite, “KuwaitSat 1”, into space using a rocket from a base in the United States state of Florida, the Kuwait Information Company (KUNA) reported.
The Kuwaiti satellite was introduced on Tuesday, January 3, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Flying Force Base in Florida, United States.
KUNA mentioned that “it was confirmed that the information and ground image reception station in the northern building of the University of Science at Kuwait University prepared to get the signals of KuwaitSat 1 after it reached its orbit around the Earth.”
This satellite introduced under the slogan Kuwait to Room, as well as it is a job of Kuwait University, moneyed by the Kuwait Structure for the Advancement of Sciences, and also service it proceeded for 3 years with two young Kuwaiti teams.
